TrickMe is a place to be playful and honest with real people. To keep it that way, everyone follows the same rules. We have
zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior, and we act on reports quickly.
Our commitment. We review reported content and users and remove violations and offending accounts — typically within 24 hours. We combine automated
filtering with human review.
Community rules
The following are not allowed on TrickMe. Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, suspension, or a permanent ban.
- No sexual or nudity content. No pornography, explicit content, or sexual solicitation.
- Absolutely no content involving minors. TrickMe is 18+ only. Any sexualization of minors is reported to the authorities.
-
No harassment or hate. No bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected
traits.
- No violence or dangerous behavior. No threats, promotion of self-harm, or dangerous "dares".
- No scams or deception. No fraud, phishing, fake profiles, impersonation, or commercial spam.
- Respect privacy. Don't share anyone's private information without consent.
- Be real. No bots, automation, or evading bans with duplicate accounts.
Note: the "dares" in TrickMe are light social prompts. Never post a dare or proof that is sexual, dangerous, illegal, or that pressures anyone.
How we moderate
- Content filtering: uploaded photos and text are screened for objectionable content.
- Reports: every report is reviewed; we prioritize safety-critical cases.
- Action: we remove violating content, and warn, suspend, or permanently ban offenders.
- Trust signals: repeated reports, blocks, and policy violations lower an account's trust and reach, and can trigger restriction.
Report, block & mute
You are always in control of who you interact with.
-
Report — open a profile or chat, tap the menu (•••), and choose Report. Pick a reason (harassment, hate speech, sexual content, scam, impersonation, underage, or
other) and add context. Reports are confidential.
- Block — blocking removes the person from your experience: they can't see you in Discover, can't message you, and your matches with them are hidden.
- Mute — silence notifications and activity from someone without blocking them.
To report something urgent or that you can't handle in-app, email [email protected]. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency
services first.
Safety tips
- Keep conversations in the app until you trust someone.
- Never send money or share financial information.
- Protect personal details (home address, workplace, daily routine).
- If you choose to meet someone, meet in a public place and tell a friend.
- Trust your instincts — if something feels off, block and report.
