Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how TrickMe ("TrickMe", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use the TrickMe mobile application and related services (the "Service"). TrickMe is a social truth game in which people share four statements — three false and one true — and others try to identify the truth.

Quick summary. You sign in with Apple. We collect the profile, user-generated content, gameplay and activity information you provide, along with limited device, diagnostic, and subscription information needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from inside the app or by contacting us.

1. Who we are

TrickMe is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. [email protected] can be used for privacy questions or to exercise your rights.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account and authentication

You create an account using Sign in with Apple. Depending on your choice, Apple may share your name and an email address, which may be an Apple private relay address. We store a unique account identifier and your sign-in provider.

2.2 Profile information you provide

2.3 User content, gameplay, and activity data

2.4 Device and technical data

2.5 Subscription and purchase data

If you purchase a subscription, including TrickMe Plus or TrickMe Black, Apple processes the payment. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status needed to provide your subscription benefits. We do not receive your full payment card details.

2.6 Consent and preference records

We may record the versions of our Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted and your privacy, analytics, marketing, and notification choices where applicable.

3. How we use your data

Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract to provide the Service; consent for processing that requires it; legitimate interests such as safety, fraud prevention, security, and product improvement; and legal obligations such as record-keeping and responding to lawful requests. Processing in Türkiye is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law, including Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), as applicable.

5. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data as follows:

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations. When you request account deletion, your account enters our deletion process and personal data is scheduled for deletion, generally within 30 days, except where limited information must be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, security, or safety purposes. Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained.

7. Your rights and choices

To exercise a privacy right, contact [email protected]. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication mechanisms. Authentication tokens may be stored using platform-provided secure storage such as Apple Keychain. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we continually work to improve our safeguards.

9. Age requirement and children

TrickMe is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit people under 18 to use the Service. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or remove the account and take appropriate steps regarding associated personal data.

If you believe a person under 18 is using TrickMe, contact [email protected].

10. International data transfers

Your personal data may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, which may include contractual protections such as standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

11. Third-party platforms and services

The Service may rely on third-party platforms and service providers for authentication, payments, notifications, hosting, analytics, diagnostics, media delivery, moderation, or other operational functions. Those providers may process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy obligations as applicable. We encourage you to review the privacy information made available by services you interact with.

12. Apple standard end user license agreement

For Apple's standard terms and conditions applicable to apps distributed through the App Store, please review Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Where required or appropriate for material changes, we may provide additional notice in the Service or request that you review updated terms.
